A reiki attunement should be done the right way. What is the right way? The right way is what feels right. A reiki attunement is a personal thing. It is important to do your research, and even more important to use your intuition. The point is to have the right person giving you the attunement.
Indeed pick the right instructor for you. If your intuition is not helping you then take it from a logical perspective first. Does your potential reiki master have much experience? Are they legitimate? Have they been doing it for long? Have they developed their own systems? What other energies do they combine if any? Do they present themselves as professionals?

Find a different teacher to do the attunement that is right for you if you still don’t get 100%.
