A voice-over can be described as a voice narration caused from a performer whom you can not see, who reads a script in an engaging style in keeping with the context within the script. To illustrate, many commercials utilize voice-overs from experts.
The difference between voice over artistes and announcers, is that voiceover artistes get outside of themselves, while announcers solely read a script.
To get beyond of yourself, you must think about who you are, who you are meeting with, plus wherever you are.
If you could think about this context, you see the script as being a performance. It’s the performance that engages listeners.
Wow, you wouldn’t feel what a positive change it creates when you take your imagination off the idea that you are only reading.
As training, its advised that you scan a composition out loud everyday. And not only studying the poem, but imagining a context for it –- imagining in your head who you are, who you are talking to, and where you are located.
It is also suggested that you read obituaries, performing as though you knew the one who died, and as though you had been familiar with all of his or her accomplishments. I haven’t tried either of those exercises yet, but I am jazzed concerning the conversational context. I am convinced that it really need to be among the key features of a decent video tutorial.
