At first glance, these two choices may appear to have absolutely nothing in common. What could baking a cake potentially have in common with being in charge of an Internet Business? Well, let us consider these two completely different jobs and see if there can in reality be more to link them in a common goal than originally thought.
The clear similarity is both can be done when deciding to Work From Home. What else can we discover that they have in common? How about the detail that to bake a cake or to do Online Jobs, both require the worker to have the proper utensils for the job? A person deciding to bake a cake who did not have a whisk, cake tin, oven or one of the other many pieces of equipment required to complete the work would soon find themselves in a bad way. The same can be applied to those who run an Internet Business. Without a laptop and internet connection, they would not get very far. They would need both tools to be successful – internet connection without a laptop, or a laptop but no internet connection would soon have the work grinding to a halt.
Both jobs require knowledge. This knowledge could be formerly learned knowledge or newly learned, but understanding where to look to obtain the information wanted to accomplish the task would be vital. For baking a cake there would be no point having the flour, eggs, sugar and butter, but not knowing how to mix these, and in what amounts to have the best outcome, or having the most brilliant mixer and oven, but not understanding how to use them. The same would be true for an Internet Business. What would be the point in having the highest spec pc and the speediest broadband connection if you are ignorant of how to get these to work together, or how to switch on the laptop?
Cake baking would happen in the kitchen in most cases and Online Jobs in an office, but both are means in which you can select to Work From Home. Cake baking may be a type of cottage industry or purely for the satisfaction of the family, but whichever option, there is work involved in making a lovely result which others will want to eat.
Starting an Internet Business must also produce a result which folk want to buy. There would be no sense at all in having the best utensils in a wonderful office at home if nobody was aware of your existence and therefore you had no work.
I hope, therefore, I have managed to present in this report how two different jobs have much more in common than may have in the beginning been considered from viewing the title. Having the right tools, knowing how to use them to get the required results and ensuring that there is somebody who will want the final product are key to both these tasks. There are in all probability many other areas that these two jobs have in common but I hope this has made you reflect on the way in which two entirely different combinations can in fact have many similarities.
