I’ve been to a few hundred of them and stopped going to them a while ago, but then I started doing them again. You can meet a countless number of people at these events.
Someone out of the blue called me up who had a large list. His interests were becoming an affiliate of mine. I didn’t recall who he was off the bat, but as we chatting over the phone I met him at one of these events. It’s powerful to network at these events. I learned this as a seo technique, the most important things are that that a person has to like you. You have to be honest, straight forward and very creative. The conversation between you and the person has to be good. The numbers have to work. But I can’t over emphasis that they have to like you.
You’re more apt to get someone to do something for you if they like you. The networkers are fond of the other person. So get out and make friends with other people. Lots of good things can happen to you if you go out and socialize with other people from seminars. There are some really good seminars out there.
$500 to $1000 is a lot to pay for a seminar and sometimes you might run into one that isn’t really that great, but you can still learn a great deal from them. Look at the offers that are on the table. How are other people being drawn to what is for sale. What kind of offer is that person making? How is the transaction being done? These are all very important points.
I wanted to bring up the subject of email, especially spam. What about those pop-ups that you see on websites that you surf to. Examine the spam. What can you learn from it? Observe how everything is put together and figure out how you can do the same thing. This is hard line ingenuity.
You can learn a lot by observing the competition. Get comfortable talking to other people. I have a few people that I know that I can tell them an idea and get some good feedback from them. When the time comes to make my products available to the public, these are the kind of people that will help me sell them.
In closing, become skilled at going to seminars. Examine your competition. See what they might be doing that you can copy. These are just some of the things you can do in your internet marketing plan.
