Reminiscing Those Warm Memories Of Eggnog, Santa Claus, and Christmas Cards

by admin on September 4, 2010

Every year each one of us anticipate Christmas, particularly the small children who are fascinated by the bustle of Christmas festivity and engrossed by the charm connected with this period of the year.

Can you recall the time nearing Christmas Eve when you get a glass of milk and a plate of cookies for Santa Claus?  Those were the times, weren’t they?

Presents are amongst the best parts of Christmas.  People save up so that they can give their family and friends something extraordinary.  Even kids save some of their money to purchase gifts.  Still, for anyone aged twelve and under, the best gift is from the person who comes down the chimney at Christmas Eve.  And we have a lot of extraordinary stories about our presents from Santa Claus, don’t we?

If you can’t spare enough cash to buy a present, there’s always the alternative of sending your friends personalized Christmas cards.  For my part, I suppose giving away cards you made personally are much more valued than expensive gifts packed in sparkling Christmas packagings.  Anyone can see the time and effort you invest in making a Christmas card and people know that what you have written truly comes from the heart.  This is perhaps among the explanations why your mailbox comes close to bursting with Christmas tokens, business Christmas cards, and other things that large corporations give out to loyal customers.

Anyways, gifts and Christmas cards are simply two of the things that make Christmas such a beloved season by many.  Nearly all of us have lots of fond experiences of Christmas revelries are already gone that we all look forward to go through again this year, and the next years to come, with the same anticipation we had when we were just kids, if not more.

Christmas is the period of the year when everyone stays in their house and there’s no school, no work, and no business trips.  It is a time when everyone has time to spend with their family and build more memories.  A family getting together by the fire place following Christmas dinner, drinking mugs of warm and delicious eggnog, talking about happy and not-so-happy times, and simply enjoying each other’s presence – this renders Christmas very unique without a doubt.

It surely is a celebration that everybody longs for during the entire year.  You can ask any person and he or she can tell you an occasion or two, most likely more, that render Christmas his or her most loved feast of the year.  And I bet, you will approve of it.

Live for the day, plan for tomorrow, learn from the past but brace yourself for Christmas as time flies very quickly so, plan ahead of time.
