The countryside is a great place to be in. Some old fashioned people prefer to live in this area. The city on the other hand is also a nice place to live in. Most people nowadays find homes that are located either in the cities or near the cities. The thing is, when you’re living in the city, you have more access to places that are beneficial to you like the grocery stores, shopping malls, restaurants, etc. In the city, you would have more choices of schools for the children there are better hospitals compared to the ones in the countryside. It doesn’t really mean that the doctors perform better in the city; it’s just that there are more doctors in the city who can attend to the needs of the patients. In the city, you may just cross the street and find items that you need to purchase, unlike when you are in the rural areas, you have to travel far just to be able to buy something. Another great thing about being in the city is that there are more commercial areas. Plus, offices would be close to your place. You don’t have to travel for a long time and far just to reach your office. Another thing is that you would have more options when it comes to commuting. There are more buses, cabs and trains you can ride.

Being in the city has its advantages, but it also has its bad side. Some people prefer to have alone times, where they can think things through and clear their minds. When you’re living in the city, it would be difficult to have this kind of moments. There is too much noise pollution since there are a lot of people who live here. When you walk the streets you would just get annoyed because you would bump into so many people because of the crowded areas. Traffic is really bad in the city since people often use their cars to go to different places. You would lose a lot of time because you have to line up for quite a while to pay for items you wish to buy. You would just lose your appetite while waiting for tables to be free in restaurants. Since there are a lot of people who go around in the city, the crime rate is higher. Aside from having noise pollution, you would also have air pollution since there are fewer trees in the city because of the buildings being placed.
